Fuerza del Pueblo requests Senasa be audited and intervened

Santo Domingo. - The Secretary of Security of the Fuerza del Pueblo (FP), Fernando Caamaño, stated that an audit of the affiliated members of the subsidized regime of ARS Senasa is necessary, due to the alleged financial crisis that this state health administrator is going through. "Senasa is in a process of lack of payments that is nothing more explainable by the financial crisis in which it is immersed", declared the former Superintendent of Health and Labor Risks.

While being interviewed on the morning show Su Mundo, he regretted that the authorities do not want to recognize the situation of Senasa, although they publicly admit that resources should be invested in it. Caamaño specified that Senasa's financial problem is due to the affiliation of nearly two million 400 people illegally, that is, without prior actuarial studies.

"Setting aside, disregarding, stopping the importance of the Single Beneficiary System, the only system, the only institution that qualifies poverty," explained Caamaño.

He highlighted that although it is a political issue, it is still true that different sectors complain about the lack of compliance in payments from Senasa.
