Dominican Republic's women's softball team debuts against Brazil in the Pan American Cup

Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Republic's senior women's softball national team will debut this Tuesday against Brazil in the Pan American Softball Cup, which is being held in Montería, Colombia. After their first match, the Dominican Republic team will face Cuba in their second commitment of the opening day, seeking to start on the right foot their participation in Group B, where they share with Mexico, Brazil, Cuba and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Dominican team will continue its participation on Saturday the 28th at 10:30 in the morning against the Virgin Islands, while on Sunday they will close the regular round against Mexico at 9:00 in the morning at the José Gabriel Amín Manzur stadium, the main venue of the event. The national team has pitchers like Anyela Gómez, Melody Vizcaíno, Eduardo Rocha and Cauris Rincón. The catchers are Alondra Vásquez and Yisel Sánchez, who will also perform functions at first base.
