Edesur Dominicana informed that it empowered the Fiscal Prosecutor's Office of San José de Ocoa with the case of a truck boarded by three people when it was traveling with seven transformers on the Piedra Blanca-Cruce de Ocoa road section.
The white vehicle was carrying transformers bearing the Edesur logo, without documentation to support their origin, driver, or any other permit from the electricity distribution company.
In moments when the truck was being checked by security agents, to establish its status, the mayor of the municipality of Sabana Larga, Pedro Castillo Casado, showed up at the place, identifying himself as the supposed owner of the transformers.
Within the framework of the process, Castillo Casado surprisingly took the keys to the truck and started driving towards his property with the transformers on board, where a prosecutor had to go to continue investigating the case and carry out a survey.
The representative of the Public Ministry was empowered to conduct the corresponding investigation.
