SANTO DOMINGO.– The weather forecast in Dominican Republic, today Saturday, June 28, 2025, warns of a significant increase in rainfall due to the incidence of a trough combined with local effects and the approach of tropical wave number 12. These conditions will generate high humidity and favor the formation of cloudiness, accompanied by moderate to heavy showers, electrical storms and isolated wind gusts in several provinces of the national territory.
The northeast, southeast, southwest regions, the Central Mountain Range, and the border area will be the most affected.
