According to the forecast issued by the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet), during the afternoon there will be local showers with isolated thunderstorms and wind gusts over provinces such as Dajabón, Monte Cristi, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, La Vega, San Juan and Elías Piña, due to the interaction of a trough at several levels of the atmosphere and the approach of a tropical wave. In the rest of the country, a dry environment will be maintained, with partly cloudy skies and a grayish tone, due to the presence of suspended particles.
