The institution, founded by former Major League Baseball player Octavio Dotel and his wife, is directed by international judge Mery Luz Infante. During the event, they achieved outstanding results, crowning themselves as:
- National champions at all levels, from Baby Gym to Level 4.
- The academy distinguished for obtaining the highest accumulated score as a team in levels 5, 7, and 8.
- National runners-up in Level 6.
The academy was also recognized with the awards for the highest overall accumulator in the entire competition, all the outstanding coach awards, and the highest recognition in elegance and artistic presentation, demonstrating both technical and stage excellence.
Beyond athletic achievements, OD Gymnastics Academy distinguishes itself as a training center based on values such as discipline, athlete safety, respect, inclusion, and teamwork. Its educational model ensures that all athletes, without distinction, receive equitable opportunities to grow, develop, and compete, strengthening not only their performance, but also their character.“We are very grateful, first to God, to the parents, to the head coaches who are part of the Dominican Republic's children's team, Marian Parra and Xavier Veloz, to the technical staff and to the parents. The academy also expressed its gratitude for the support provided by FEDOGIM and its president, Edwin Rodríguez, as well as for the grand tribute paid during the inauguration to former baseball player Octavio Dotel.
