Two people lost their lives and two others were injured after the collapse of the roof of a construction in the area of Diwo de Limina, in Juana Méndez, northeast of Haiti. The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon while concrete pouring work was being carried out on the structure.
The governor of the northeast, Dionel Germain, confirmed that the rescue operations have concluded and no further victims are reported. Likewise, he informed that an investigation was opened to clarify the causes of the collapse and establish possible responsibilities.

The injured were taken to the Juana Méndez hospital, where they are receiving medical attention. Their state of health has not yet been disclosed. Local authorities are keeping the affected area under surveillance while investigations into the incident proceed.
