Dubai.- More than 3,800 people were evacuated from a 67-story building in one of the busiest areas of Dubai, the economic capital of United Arab Emirates (UAE), due to a fire that occurred last night and has already been extinguished, official sources reported this Saturday.
“Dubai Civil Defense teams extinguished the fire in six hours in a 67-story building in the Marina area, after ensuring the safety of the 3,820 residents,” Dubai Media Office indicated on its official X account.

Emirati authorities are coordinating with the building's developer to provide temporary accommodation to residents, the source said. The fire broke out on the upper floors of the building known as Tiger Tower, in the busy Marina district, around 9:30 pm local time (5:30 pm GMT).The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
