According to local information, the explicit images of Buchan, 34 years old, were known to her pupils in November 2022, which led her to resign from her position at Bannerman High School due to several complaints. The Scottish teacher's pseudonym was Jessica Jackrabbit, where she described herself as a “good teacher gone bad.”The woman did not hide her identity or her profession, causing the Glasgow City Council to initiate an investigation that was referred to the General Teaching Council.
The teacher will not be able to teach again until she is allowed to reapply for teacher registration.

Despite her resignation, the Scottish teacher told BBC News that she did not want to abandon her career, but felt compelled by economic circumstances and work stress. "I think it's a bad day for freedom of expression," the teacher told the Daily Record, underlining that she never intended for the students to see her photos. Buchan had defended his right to be on the platform that generates him earnings of 60,000 pounds (about 80,000 dollars) in a month.
