Rome.- Loose garments, pastel colors, an air of nonchalance and a lot of exposed leg make up the axes of the new collection of the fashion Prada firm for next summer's man, presented this Sunday on the Milan catwalk.
"The most important thing was to change the tone, to go from aggressiveness to gentleness, calm and the human because today we see that everything is too much and we wanted to do something that suggested tranquility. This was the fundamental concept," summarized designer Miuccia Prada, author of the collection along with Raf Simons, to the media. In his vision, the man of next spring/summer will wear comfortable garments, such as flared suit trousers that he will not hesitate to combine with nice colorful loafers, rigorously with long socks, or even flip-flops.You may be interested in: Brad Pitt breaks the mold in the fashion industry with a new line of biodegradable clothing
One of the keys to the parade was the bet on shorts, one might say minimal, presented with sailor wool jerseys or with long and loose shirts that look like dresses, as well as straw headdresses on the head. Another essential garment will be tracksuits or long-sleeved sports sets, combined with overcoats or under suit jackets... rolled up. The collection was imbued with a certain childlike air, something natural when betting on serenity, according to the designer.
