Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado, Farruko's given name, presented the second generation of the exclusive limited edition scooters at an event held at the facilities of Generators and More PR (GM Power Equipment), in Mayagüez (west), as indicated in a statement.
“Thank you Puerto Rico for the support you are giving me with the motorcycles, and most of all, grateful to God for the good things that are happening to me. The glory is yours, Lord. Thank you!”, said Farruko in the note.
The Carbon Armor Scooter line is born from a deep connection between the artist and his childhood, in which he remembers having grown up among engines, cars, and gas stations, specifically in his hometown of Bayamón, adjacent to San Juan.
“I've loved motorcycles since I was a child. I grew up in a car repair shop. My grandfather had a gas station. Since I was a kid, I've been seeing this world. But, obviously, music was what pulled me forward, it's my first dream,” said Farruko.
“I am a fan of adrenaline and speed,” he stated, explaining that reconnecting with old interests while reinventing himself has been key in this new phase.
The artist also shared how the temporary pause in their musical career, stemming from emotional situations, was a moment of reflection that opened new doors.
“I wasn't going to have perhaps the time to think about how to diversify and enter into a facet of being an entrepreneur of something that I liked. Everything comes based on the decision of the change I made in my life. That pause opened doors in my life, and one of those is this blessing of being able to create these motorcycles,” he declared.
