The song tells the story of two hearts trapped in the same love: two people who, unknowingly, were talking about the same individual. The narrative is told through a ballad with flamenco touches, performed by Max Max.
Max Max not only creates music, he builds bridges between Cuba and the rest of the world. He is a singer-songwriter, producer, and arranger, trained in lyrical singing at the prestigious Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana.
His musical preparation is complemented by a natural talent for creating poetic and emotionally charged compositions. Inspired by the bolero, Latin pop, and tropical rhythms, Max Max brings to life a sound that is profound, expressive, and authentically his own, a fusion of the classic and the contemporary.
The ballad version was produced by Max Max himself, who took his vision from composition to final interpretation, achieving an emotive piece with flamenco influences that is enhanced by the voices of Aimar Habibi and Wason Brazobán.
On the other hand, the salsa version was in charge of Pedro Jesús, recognized for his career as a singer, composer, arranger, and producer in the genre. His talent has led him to collaborate with many of the most influential salsa artists on the current scene.
“Max is any record company's dream. He is an extraordinary talent, a profound and poetic composer; a charismatic singer who projects pure emotion and an excellent and visionary producer. But his quality as a human being completes the package. We are very proud to announce this first release with Mayimba!” - Marti Cuevas, CEO of Mayimba Music
Max Max is currently preparing the release of his first album, A Media Luz, scheduled for early autumn. This project marks a new chapter in his career: an intimate, vulnerable, and deeply personal one. Each lyric is charged with emotion, and each melody reflects his cultural roots and artistic evolution.
