The Heat Awards 2025 were held this Thursday, May 29, for the first time in Medellín. The capital of Antioquia became the epicenter of Latin music, bringing together renowned national and international artists.
Figures like Eddy Herrera, Pipe Bueno, Arelys Henao, Jessi Uribe, Alexis y Fido, Nacho, Kapo and Elena Rose walked the red carpet and participated in the gala, which took place at the Coliseo Iván de Bedout.Tributes with a touch of nostalgia
The ceremony began around 7:00 p.m. with the presentation of the coveted "Heat Globes", on a night filled with music, emotions, and special moments. One of the most anticipated was the tribute to the late merengue singer Rubby Pérez, who died in March 2025 in a nightclub in the Dominican Republic. The tribute was performed by Eddy Herrera, interpreter of hits like Ajena and Pégame tu vicio.
Another of the great honorees was La India, one of the most emblematic voices of Puerto Rican salsa. The singer was recognized in life and celebrated by artists like Willy García, in an emotional moment of the evening.
