NEIVA, COLOMBIA.– Singer Ángela Aguilar made the difficult decision to cancel her concert in the city of Neiva this weekend, after a structural fault was detected in the stage a few hours before the start of the show. The measure, although painful for her followers, was adopted for safety reasons for both the public and her artistic team.
The interpreter of "Tell Me How You Want" confirmed the news through her social media, where she expressed her sadness for not being able to perform before the Colombian public.
"Neiva, it hurts me a lot that I can't sing for you today. I was very excited to go to your beautiful land," she wrote in an Instagram story, which immediately received hundreds of messages of support from her fans.
A technical incident forced everything to be suspended
As explained by the artist herself, everything was prepared for the concert: the musicians, dancers, and technicians were already at the venue, fine-tuning the final details. However, an incident related to the stage structure triggered the production team's alerts, leading to the immediate decision to suspend the event.
"The incident that occurred in the stage structure does not allow us to perform. The most important thing for me is your safety and well-being, both yours and our team's," said Angela, making it clear that her priority is to protect the integrity of everyone involved.
Admiration for your professionalism
The decision to cancel the concert was met with understanding and respect by many of her fans in Colombia, who appreciated the artist's responsible gesture. On social media, expressions of affection and solidarity were quick to follow, applauding her commitment to the public.
Ángela Aguilar, who has consolidated a rising career in the regional Mexican genre, did not offer a new presentation date, but left open the possibility of meeting her fans again at another time.
