Dominicans abroad and tourists enjoy the Mango Fair 2025 in Baní

Baní. – During this week, Baní, cataloged as The Mango Capital, has given life to one of the most anticipated and important activities in the region: the celebration of the Mango Fair 2025.

From the early hours of this Saturday, Dominicans residing abroad, coming from the United States, Puerto Rico, Europe and other parts of the world, have arrived in Baní to enjoy the wide variety of mangoes, national and foreign, cultivated in this privileged area of the country, in addition to the welcoming experience. Tourists from the city of New York, who are visiting the Mango Fair for the first time and were interviewed by DUM cameras, stated that this is more than a gastronomic experience, it is a cultural and agricultural experience that pays homage to the mango, one of the most emblematic fruits of the country, but that at the same time shows them the identity of Dominicans up close. This popular fair, which began last Wednesday, June 18th, will last until tomorrow, Sunday, in the Plaza Joaquín Sergio Inchaustegui, a stage where thousands of people have gathered in recent days. The influx of visitors to Baní, both national and foreign, is also gaining momentum with Dominicans residing in other provinces, who have moved to the south of the country to witness the Mango Fair.
