Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet), reports that a high-pressure system dominates the meteorological conditions over the country, which limits cloud formations in several of our locations, maintaining a clear and hot environment.
The rains, if they occur, will be in the form of showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon until the early hours of the night, over towns located in El Gran Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, El Seibo, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Azua and San Juan. Tomorrow Wednesday, a tropical wave will be approaching the country, bringing with it favorable conditions for some clouds to appear after midday, which will leave scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in provinces such as: Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Santiago, Santiago Rodríguez, Valverde and Dajabon. In the night, a sky with scattered clouds will prevail and little precipitation in most provinces, with widely isolated showers possibly observed in towns near the northeast coast of the country. In addition, the sky will retain an opaque and hazy appearance due to the presence of dust from the Sahara desert.
