Nice, France – President Luis Abinader and the King of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, held a bilateral meeting this Sunday afternoon, in which they discussed various topics of interest to both nations.
During the meeting, the heads of state discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between both countries.

They also discussed trade, tourism, security, and cooperation between both nations.Both leaders extended official invitations to each other to visit their respective countries.
The meeting took place before the opening of the Third United Nations Ocean Conference, which will be held in this city from Monday to Friday and will be attended by heads of state and government.
President Abinader and his delegation arrived in Nice early this Sunday morning. The president is scheduled to give a speech this Monday during the event.
Also, for Tuesday afternoon, President Abinader has scheduled a meeting with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
The delegation accompanying the president is comprised of the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, Paíno Henríquez; the Dominican ambassador to France, David Puig; the ambassador, permanent representative to the UN, Wellington Bencosme; his assistants Noelia Shephard and Eilyn Beltrán; the head of security and director of CUSEP, Major General Jimmy Arias; and the press director, Daniel García Archibald.
