Santo Domingo.- Representative Leyvi Bautista, from the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), expressed her support this Tuesday for the aspirations of the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco, to occupy the General Secretariat of that political organization in the internal elections scheduled for the year 2026.
Bautista, representative of the municipality of Santo Domingo Oeste, affirmed that Pacheco's candidacy is part of a process of institutional strengthening within the PRM and positively valued the leadership he has exercised in his legislative functions.
Likewise, he considered favorable the proposal that the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, assume the presidency of the PRM, and pointed out that, if that possibility materializes, he must have the support of the party's membership.
