Find out how many millions MIREX will spend on the purchase of apricots for the Summit of the Americas

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) announced the acquisition of 3,215 "chabacanas" (a type of garment) as part of the preparations for the Tenth Summit of the Americas, which will have a value of RD$ 18 million 396 thousand pesos.

According to the economic offer of the MIREX-CCC-SI-2025-0004 tender, there are 142 white linen guayaberas for men with an estimated unit price of 12 thousand one pesos for a total of one million 704 thousand 142 pesos.

While 188 white linen chacabanas for women have an estimated unit price of 12 thousand one pesos, for a total of two million 256 thousand 188 pesos.

Whereas 1,960 white cotton chacabanas for men have a unit cost of five thousand four pesos, for a total of nine million 807 thousand 840 pesos.

Also, 925 white cotton guayaberas for women cost five thousand four pesos, for a total of four million 628 thousand 700 pesos.

The bidding process specifies that to participate, a physical sample of a size of each item is required, which must be duly identified with the company name and number.

In addition, for the making of uniforms, quality materials must be used, with certification or technical data sheet of the fabrics and that the choice does not alter the price of the product.

It establishes that the offers will be presented applying for all items, i.e. the complete lot, and to evaluate the offers it is necessary to detail all the technical specifications contained in lot A.

Detail that the coordination of the delivery of the goods must be with the Administrative Directorate, General Services department, Warehouse and Supplies, and a representative of the Internal Audit Unit.
