Washington, D.C. The businessman and technological visionary Elon Musk announced today, through his official account on X (formerly Twitter), the end of his period as a Special Government Employee of the United States.

In his message, Musk thanked former President Donald J. Trump for the opportunity to contribute to the reduction of inefficient public spending during his time in office.

“As my scheduled period as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I’d like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to help reduce unnecessary spending,” Musk wrote.

Elon Musk also referenced the initiative known as @DOGE, a government mission that, according to the magnate, "will only strengthen over time, becoming a way of life throughout the government."

Although no details were given about the scope or specific achievements of the program, it is interpreted as an effort to apply principles of efficiency and technological innovation in public administration.

Musk's involvement in the government, although limited in time and scope, has been part of a broader strategy to involve private sector leaders in structural reforms within federal institutions.

So far, it has not been confirmed whether Musk will continue to collaborate with the government in other capacities. However, his statements suggest a strong commitment to transforming the state apparatus towards a more agile and sustainable model.
