Santo Domingo Norte.– With an emotional act filled with love, gratitude, and recognition, the Diosidencias Foundation, presided over by Yeury Bidó, celebrated Mother's Day this Saturday with more than a hundred women from the municipality of Santo Domingo Norte, during an event held in the recreational area "La Cotorra" of the Mirador del Norte National Park.
“Today we come to say thank you to those brave, loyal, and dream-filled mothers who sustain our communities with their love and strength,” Bidó expressed when opening the day, which included a special lunch, raffles, music, and moments filled with emotion.
During the activity, dozens of mothers were recognized for their unconditional dedication to their families and communities. Many of those honored have also been fundamental pillars in the birth and development of the Foundation. Among the outstanding women were Miguelina Acevedo, Claudia Paula, Francia Isabel and Jenni de la Rosa, to whom Bidó dedicated words of admiration for their faith, commitment and leadership.

The mothers expressed their joy and gratitude for the tribute. “I am super happy, they are recognizing us and I even won a stove. Thank you!”, said one of the attendees from the San Felipe sector of Villa Mella. Another mother, who received an iron as a gift, added: “We give everything for our children, and on this Mother's Day they are commemorating us as we deserve. I feel happy.”
“More than happy, amazed,” expressed another of the award winners amidst laughter and hugs, while sharing lunch with her community colleagues.
The Diosidencias Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to social causes in Santo Domingo Norte, especially with single mothers, women leaders, and community members who are actively involved in its projects of social transformation and hope.
