Samaná.- The former presidential candidate for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and aspiring to the same position, Abel Martínez, held a meeting with leaders and community leaders in Arroyo Barril, Samaná, to whom he reminded that the political exercise in the country must be assumed with responsibility, assuming the sacred commitment to the Dominican people.
After listening to the concerns of the community members, Abel expressed that the legacy of well-being left by the governments of the PLD must be recognized and that this political organization must embrace the needs and demands of the Dominican people. "We must support each community in their causes, think of the mothers, the young worker, and the father of the family. The responsibility we have is very great and as a party, I tell you from the heart that we must reconnect with society. We have to work on the construction and reconstruction of this organization that belongs to Dominican democracy," expressed Abel Martínez.
