A Jet Set tragedy survivor remains in intensive care; another patient is stable

Santo Domingo.- A survivor of the tragedy that occurred on April 8th at the Jet Set nightclub remains admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while a woman also affected by the incident continues to be hospitalized in stable condition at the Salvador B. Gautier hospital, as reported this Monday by the director of the Supérate program, Gloria Reyes.

Both patients are part of the group of people attended to after the collapse of the entertainment center's roof, which left 237 dead and dozens injured.

Reyes offered the information during the presentation of the progress report of the Socio-family Intervention Protocol, through which the Government provides comprehensive care to affected families.

As part of that accompaniment, 232 homes have been intervened through a joint effort between Supérate, the Ministry of Public Health, SIUBEN, CONANI, the National Health Service and other entities.

Furthermore, 205 families have requested financial support, and starting next week, they will begin receiving a monthly transfer of 30,000 pesos for six months.

The report also details that 174 children and adolescents have been identified in a situation of orphanhood or parental loss, and have therefore been incorporated into CONANI's care plan, which includes psychological, educational, legal, and health support.
