Santo Domingo. - President Luis Abinader reported this Monday that those responsible for the death of five people during a shooting allegedly linked to a dispute over the control of a drug point in the municipality of Loma de Cabrera, Dajabón province, have already been identified.
In that sense, Abinader specified that Dominican Republic has the highest statistical levels in Central America in terms of homicide, which is why he emphasizes that it is not heading towards comparing itself with Ecuador, due to that recent event.

“That case has already identified the people who carried it out and you can be sure that justice will be done,” said the president during LA Semanal.
According to reports, the victims were identified as Franklin Alexander González Cabrera, 54 years old; Ignacio Lora, 31; a man known only as “El Menor”; another nicknamed “La Ciencia”, of Haitian nationality; and a fifth Haitian individual, identified as “Yony el Albañil”.
The National Police identified José Miguel de la Rosa, 23, who has a criminal record and an outstanding arrest warrant; Héctor Alejandro Acevedo Estévez, alias “Chico”, a resident of the Pinal Claro sector and currently a fugitive; and a third person identified only as Junior “Fenbo”, whose full identity is being verified, as the alleged perpetrators of the act.
